I'm in it for the money.
I started my journey toward AI in 2007. I learned Python because I had an idea to machine read financial statements and "hunt" for confidence-indicating words in footnotes, CFO commentary and responses to analyst questions on call readouts.
Along with 3 other partners we built and launched Throne Capital in 2012.
As I learned more about Py and got into machine learning I just became obsessed with the idea of automating actions that make money.
Machine learning is an alchemical synthesis of mathematics and computing currently ushering in an era of unprecedented transformation for humanity.

In math there's something called the ‘knee of the curve’.

We are sitting at the knee of the curve on several different technologies at the same time and this is having a multiplicative effect.
We’re moving faster and faster into the future because of this.
This means the number of opportunities is exploding upward.
