My daily schedule shifts dramatically based upon:

I carve out three (3) periods each day - AM, Midday, PM.
During each period I am responsible for completing three “mastery development” tasks.
I recognize six (6) avenues of mastery we can develop along:

This means every single day, I take nine (9) steps forward - like this:

This consistency of this practice gives it power.
54 (9 daily mastery tasks x 6 days) forward steps each week .
Saturdays I read and write only, no “work”.
No checkboxes checked.
Just time with family, friends and lots of books.
Can the mastery development schedule vary? Absolutely! My only rule is that I must complete one (1) each of the 6 dimensions of mastery.
Some days I carry out AM + Midday prescribed above and my PM session is 3x Physical because I hit the gym, do a breathing exercise and stretch while listening to binaural audio.
Mastery Development Task Selection
Our individual objectives are going to dictate which daily actions to take.
Physically I am trying to gain weight while increasing my bench press, back squat and row. The daily tasks that move me in that direction are:
eating a high-protein + fat rich meal
completing a workout
drinking 100 oz of water
Mentally I am improving my python programming to gain world-class automation skillsets while also building revenue operations software. To achieve this I:
have ChatGPT provide practice problems and datasets + guide me in strategizing solutions, mapping tradeoffs and executing efficiently
watch a tutorial on a specific Py library and then build an MVP to practice
Doesn’t 9 tasks a day take forever?
I typically complete each mastery development session in 40 to 50 minutes. That “costs” 2.5 hours a day and the reward is a 100,000x return.
Every day I go to sleep with the satisfaction of knowing my family is benefiting from consistent coordinated forward progress.
What does this have to do with AI?
You could do this entire practice analog, away from machines entirely.
I still use a daily planning book and I love writing down my 1-focus for the day + 3 Most Important Tasks.
